La Voile Verte sur Albigny-Sur-Saone

We came to eat at La Voile Verte for my partner's birthday. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and the food was excellent. The prices are reasonable and the view of the harbor is a big plus. Our dog even got cuddles and a bowl of fresh water. The only downside: the rather ordinary desserts. We'll be back!

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Quiet location on the banks of the Saône. The frogs' legs are excellent. There's no sign indicating the restaurant's location from the road.

You're in a magnificent setting, on a beautiful terrace suspended above the Saône River. Getting here is a bit tricky; you really need to know the place, as it's not signposted from the road. It's an ordinary entrance with a barrier, leading to a large parking lot. Being on the road, you can't see what's behind it. I think it's for the regular clientele. But if you manage to find it, you'll be most welcome. It's an open-air restaurant with a partially shaded terrace. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is top-notch. We ordered the octopus and calamari, and it was amazing. The bar is well-stocked; they'll grant all your wishes here. The atmosphere is fantastic, relaxation guaranteed, an evening to repeat. I highly recommend La Voile Verte.

Great. Very good food, good location. However... finding this restaurant is a nightmare! 😱😱😱 You have to enter from the marina, even though it says "private" and has a gate that thankfully opens automatically. Otherwise, there are no signs, just information at the address, nothing... It deserves to be signposted along the road; otherwise, it will only be known to its regular customers.

Fantastic place! The staff was incredibly attentive, the service was quick and friendly, the table was right by the water, and the fisherman's salad was delicious! Thank you to the whole team!!

By chance, on a Monday at lunchtime, few restaurants were open. Very friendly welcome, quiet terrace by the water. Frogs 5 out of 5! Varied menu and attentive staff. Plus, apparently they're preparing the hit of the summer! Come listen and taste it!
