L'Abbaye sur Tulle

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch today. The staff were pleasant and efficient. We ordered two dishes from the menu: a tomato and burrata salad and a Corrèze salad, both excellent. The background music was a lovely touch of Cuban music.

Passing through Tulle on Sunday, we stopped for a break and a meal quite by chance and without a reservation. The staff is welcoming and attentive, and the bistro cuisine is high-quality and plentiful. What could be better for our break! I highly recommend it…

While passing through Tulle, after following the advice of a young local, my wife and I found ourselves at this restaurant which delighted us! A very warm welcome! Excellent food! Good prices! A really nice restaurant in Tulle, fast and efficient service, a very good menu at a reasonable price.

For three years now, we've been coming to Tulle regularly, and we're already looking forward to finally returning to this exceptional place, which for us is "the place" in the area—authentic and meticulously maintained! Ideally located opposite the cathedral, L'Abbaye always offers a very warm welcome. The products are fresh, there are fabulous cured meats made on-site, and beautifully aged cheeses. All the dishes are homemade (nothing frozen), delicious, and beautifully presented (with options that will delight vegetarians). The wines are excellent, and the service is truly professional yet relaxed and, above all, exceptionally kind! So, thank you to Audrey, Guillaume, Wassim, and the owners, Alex and Albert, for doing everything to make us feel comfortable and ensure we always have the best possible experience. A word of advice related to "the price of fame" in this charming and remarkable place in every way: try to book in advance to avoid the risk of finding there is no room when you arrive!

A truly authentic spot with an excellent welcome in this real gem, directly opposite the cathedral (right in the heart of old Tulle). The food and drinks are great (special mention for the Rocamadour cheese puff pastry salad and the delicious, generously portioned hanger steak). No frozen food here, everything is fresh and homemade. A true haven of happiness where you quickly feel at ease, and on that note, thank you to Albert, Alex, Audrey, and Guillaume, who all take such good care of you!
