Excellent meal! The daily starter (burrata, eggplant, tomato, and red pesto) was visually and gustatorily incredible; the main courses and dessert were also very good. Thank you to the chef and servers for a wonderful experience.

When you dine outside at Bistrot des Plantes, you're in a shaded village square! The welcome is really friendly, the food is simple but really good—in short, I highly recommend it!

A fantastic discovery! Full of flavor, served efficiently with a smile. Both the terrace and dining room are wheelchair accessible! I have a feeling I'll be walking down Rue des Plantes more often!

French cuisine with a twist, very good and well-prepared dishes. Good wines. The outdoor setting is beautiful and quaint. The tables are small and very close together (but that's somewhat standard in Paris).

A fabulous little corner of Paris. It has that parisienne atmosphere. Had some magificent decadent risotto with rotiserie chicken where the risotto was definitely not the companion dish, but the main star and arancini with spicy mint yoghurt that even though is under entres, it could have been its own course. The tuna steak was also perfectly done, one of the best we've had. The wait staff is energetic and do their very best to get you your order and food on time and in its ideal form. I only visited for 6 days, went there twice, went a third time, but the kitchen was closed this time, much to my regret. I will come back for another round of risotto some day.

Sadly it's gone downhill. They always 'forget' to honour happy hour prices. Service seems to be preoccupied with tables outside just taking drinks.

17/08/2026: While sightseeing in Arles, I stopped for a salad at this little restaurant on Rue de la République. It was a great idea: excellent service and a delicious meal. A good place to remember 😉

L'Arlatan

17/06/2026: This hotel far surpassed my hopes and expectations. Websites can oversell a place with camera angles and photo edits and I was prepared to be slightly underwhelmed by L'Arlatan. Instead, I found that the hotel, restaurant, bar, and grounds were so phenomenal that the website actually undersold the space. It’s even more incredible in person. Everything was perfect - the comfort, coolness, and beauty of the rooms, the kindness of the staff, the stunning gardens and the phenomenal restaurant. Every detail is thoughtful and perfectly executed. I thought Arles would be a quick trip while passing through Provence but instead I’m already planning my next visit just so I can stay at L’Arlatan again. Thank you for an incredible experience!
26/05/2026: We had dinner in the restaurant's courtyard and it was a lovely experience. The atmosphere is peaceful, the service is pleasant and friendly, with helpful recommendations. A special mention for the strawberry dessert on the new menu.
