A place my friend and I had been talking about for a long time, and we were really happy with our visit today.
The service and food are excellent.

Nestled atop Douaumont, at the foot of the battlefields, this restaurant is a true haven of peace. The setting is magnificent, the welcome delightful, the cuisine of a very high standard, and they know how to make excellent kidneys (which is important). It's delicious, flavorful, expertly prepared, and imbued with a natural warmth.
It's no surprise that it's now one of my favorite local spots.
