L'Absolu sur Auros

Good food. Apart from the unfortunate fall of a customer which somewhat spoiled my appetite, I would have appreciated an exterior that lived up to the restaurant's standard.

An incredible culinary experience awaited us, courtesy of Mr. Mary and his team. Unassumingly located in Auros, the team gave us a very warm welcome. They even speak English upon request! We were able to choose a spot on the simple yet charming terrace. Fleur, our dog, was warmly welcomed and given a bowl of water without us even having to ask. A first interesting experience: instead of menus, there are modern tablets where you can select your daily specials – very innovative and convenient, as the dishes are described in five languages! From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, it was an absolutely classic example of French cuisine. It truly demonstrates why France offers the best cuisine in the world, and why Maître Mary masters his craft with such skill and ease. We were there for lunch. The excellent value for money and the perfect timing completed the experience. We will definitely be back! Highly, highly recommended…😋😋

A very pleasant place, perfectly suited for family meals, as it offers the option of a private area with a playroom for children. Thank you to the whole team for this enjoyable experience!

A warm welcome, refined cuisine, and impeccable service. The chef knows how to showcase the ingredients while respecting their natural flavors. Fresh produce, inventive and fragrant sweet and savory combinations. The wine list is very reasonably priced, although it's missing at least one Burgundy...😁

I came with my friend this Friday evening and received an excellent welcome and delicious food. I had sweetbreads with vegetables and apple dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, as did my friend, who ordered a different but equally tasty dish. They also offered a beautiful wine by the glass. Thank you to the chef for this excellent, high-quality cuisine. Thank you again for the exceptional service. I highly recommend this restaurant 😊 It's inexpensive for the quality served. Very good, pleasant welcome and good food.

Not giving it top marks would be petty! Everything was perfect. Yes, really: from the table setting to the intimate atmosphere and decor of the restaurant, not to mention the spotless restrooms and highly professional service. And of course, what matters most: the meal and its price (lunchtime, weekdays). We were only passing through, but every time we return, we will treat ourselves to the pleasure of coming back.

Given the price of the set menus, I expected a more refined presentation of the dishes. The duck breast skewer, ordered pink, arrived overcooked, which was a shame.
