"Lac Casa" is a clever name—a little wink to the fact that it's on Lac Street, and thankfully the food is every bit as thoughtful. Finding genuinely good Mexican food in France isn't exactly easy, which makes what they've accomplished here all the more impressive. Using local ingredients, they've managed to capture something that feels remarkably close to home. The portions are generous, the salsas have real character, and nothing tastes like it came from a jar. The agua de jamaica deserves its own paragraph. It was one of the best I've ever had—sweet, tart, and perfectly balanced. My only complaint? They only served half a glass. That's a shame, because it was good enough to make me want a pitcher or even a bucket. After spending enough time away from home, you start craving familiar flavors more than fancy ones. Lac Casa delivered exactly that. It wasn't trying to reinvent Mexican food; it was simply trying to get it right. And for the most part, it did.

Decided to try Mexican food in France. Not the standard move. But possibly one of my better decisions. Every part of the experience was 10/10. The service was personal and not overbearing. The explanation of the menu was on point and we felt like we were along for the story. The food was fresh, delicious and unique. The vibe was relaxed despite there being a full house. Do yourself a favour if you're in Annecy and head to Lac Casa.

Beautiful love story on the front of menu about how the owners met. French girl (front of house) met Mexican boy (presumably the chef) whilst travelling. Came back to France and worked hard in other restaurants then had the bravery to get their own restaurant. Lots of detail and love gone into the food. Great explanation of the menu. Beef burrito was a little bland with plain rice. My son loved and inhaled his chicken burrito. Nachos were good simple. Quesadillas a little too plain for my liking even with the nice tomato salsa. Signature volcanic pot thing with chicken and cheese - too cheesy but good concept. Food not far off 4 stars - maybe we had an off night. Make sure you get there before 9pm as kitchen closes and u will be turned away. Reservations possible. Worth going for the French lady at front of House as she is very passionate and seems very happy!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during our visit to Annecy! The staff are very attentive, explaining the menus…! The food is excellent! We highly recommend it!

Went during MIFA without a reservation. The restaurant filled up quickly while we were eating so would recommend booking. Although the starters were ok, the mains were great. Fresh ingredients, nicely presented and with flavour. Recommend the spicy salsas. The guacamole side made us regret not getting it as a starter. Service super friendly and efficient (amazing as he was alone in a packed restaurant).
