Lac Casa sur Annecy

Excellent meal with very, very pleasant staff!! I highly recommend this restaurant; the idea of ​​offering mild dishes and letting us add our own sauce is superb. A great taste of Mexico in Annecy 😋

Authentic Mexican food (no TexMex). Even though I've lived in Mexico for years I was offered food I had never eaten before. Great service and very nice atmosphere. Place is also airconditioned.

We called Lac Casa a few months in advance to make a reservation, and it was made in Spanish, and the girl who answered the phone noted down all our information. However, when we arrived, our reservation was not on their records. What was disappointing was the response from the female owner. Rather than showing some understanding, she was defensive and told us that we should have called one day before to confirm. I don’t think a reservation should require the customer to call again to make sure it was actually recorded, especially when the information had already been taken by the restaurant. In a situation like this, a little sympathy and acknowledgment would have gone a long way, particularly when the mistake wasn’t on the customer’s side. We also waited around 30 minutes for a table to become ready. The food itself was up to par, but unfortunately the michelada wasn’t. Instead of Tajín, they used a spicy sauce that had a somewhat off taste and didn’t work particularly well in the drink. I lived in Mexico for quite some time and I believe I know what a good Michelada is. On the positive side, the male owner was very pleasant and polite, which we appreciated. Overall, there were some good aspects, but the handling of the reservation issue left us disappointed. A little more customer empathy would have made a big difference.

The best Mexican restaurant I've been to in 11 years in France. I had a huarache and it was absolutely delicious. The habanero sauce was excellent.

Really tasty food and excellent service

We were looking for a restaurant for our first dinner in Annecy and stumbled upon this fantastic Mexican-style ethnic restaurant. The two owners have a wonderful story, a beautiful location, and above all, an excellent selection of traditional dishes...in true Mexican style, without any reinterpretations or poetic license.
