It's pretty good and the service is friendly. There's a large parking lot, which is a real plus considering the neighborhood. You can also play mini-golf.

A huge congratulations to the new owner of the Lac & Montagne restaurant in Saint-Jorioz, who has transformed an establishment whose previous concept had nothing to do with Savoyard cuisine and offered "exceptional" dishes where only the bill was truly exceptional. Today, the change is clear, visible, and above all, very successful. The restaurant benefits from easy access, a reserved parking area, and a pleasant setting with its mini-golf course, perfect for extending the experience (even if, after a tartiflette, aiming for the hole becomes a high-level sport). Upon arrival, we received a prompt, warm, and very friendly welcome. Our order was taken within a very reasonable timeframe, with commendable transparency: we were informed that the tartiflette required 20 minutes of preparation. And the promised delivery times were perfectly respected. We chose two tartiflettes and two rib-eye steaks: the dishes were generous, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Special mention goes to the tartiflette, whose amount of cheese would make any Savoyard melt with delight. The prices are reasonable, finally in line with the quality and generous portions. After the meal, we played a round of mini-golf: a very enjoyable activity, even if digestion makes some of the obstacles a bit more… athletic. In short: The new owner has breathed new life and value into this place that I've known for 50 years. Well done! We will gladly return.

We had an excellent dinner at the Lac & Montagne whilst on holiday in Annecy. Service was excellent and the food delicious. What may seem a small point but impressed me greatly was that we got a carafe of water straight away on being seated, and then this was attentively refreshed by the staff whenever it was emptied without us having to ask. In many other places we'd had had sometimes lengthy waits for water - not ideal in the hot weather. We also had a game of Mini Golf first next door - also highly recommended!

An excellent place! Jean-Noël and Gaëlle, the new owners, gave us a warm welcome and top-notch service. Delicious food, quality ingredients, and genuine attention to their customers. We had a wonderful time as a family. You can tell they're putting their heart and soul into this new venture. A truly great find that I highly recommend!

Le Lac et Montagne has returned to its more traditional, family-run feel. The welcome and service were pleasant, and we had a very good meal. The weekday lunch menu at €22 is excellent value for money, even if the chocolate mousse for dessert was a bit of a letdown (it didn't have time to set properly... but it still tasted very good). We will gladly return to this restaurant. The mini-golf course has had a bit of a facelift (it was much needed, as it was falling into disrepair due to lack of maintenance). It would be a dream to see it restored to its state in the late 1980s, when the ponds and fountain were working; it was magnificent! It was even possible to play late into the evening because it was lit. Also, next to the mini-golf course, a snack bar has reopened. The young women who run it are very pleasant. All that's missing is an ice cream parlor, and it will be perfect! 👍
