Fantastic restaurant! Excellent cook, super welcoming owner, and the food is absolutely superb. Highly recommended.

The food was good, but it was stiflingly hot; the owner would be well advised to turn the air conditioning down a bit.

We came last week when the air conditioning was broken (it happens, no problem). I wish I had known this when I made my reservation, because as a result, our experience wasn't great. We arrived to 38-degree heat outside, and the restaurant was an oven. The heat from outside combined with the kitchen was very unpleasant. As for the food, we ended up ordering goat cheese salads because eating hot food was impossible, even though we came to order dishes from the menu. So I'm not here to comment on the food itself; I would have liked to try the chef's dishes, but we couldn't. The service was also particularly slow, but understandable. The owner was managing the dining room, the bar, greeting customers, and taking payments all by himself. Was someone absent? What kind of restaurant operates like that? We found it disappointing; we came to eat in a cool place, especially considering the reviews of the restaurant. We'll come back; I think we simply didn't come on the right day.
