L'AGAPE sur Avignon

A very nice French restaurant with wonderful food and superb staff. My wife and I enjoyed a quiet dinner starting with scallops and escargot. I chose the sea bass and my wife chose the veal. The chocolate mousse topped off the dinner. Well worth a visit.

TLDR: Highly recommend coming to this restaurant. Visited L‘Agape for dinner during the week where it was a bit more quiet. The food was excellent with interesting flavours (e.g., popcorn-themed dessert). Service was good and decorations were modern. We were 4 people and I ordered the following for myself: - Roasted scallops - Veal Wellington with potato gratin - Popcorn dessert (ice cream, white chocolate mousse, rice pudding, popcorn)

What a wonderful experience! We’ve been three times during our 4 week stay in Avignon. We first stumbled upon it during lunch one day and it was magnificent! The woman who served us, and I believe the owner, was very welcoming and pleasant. We had the lunch starter and main. I had the parsnip soup and my husband had the scallops and we both had the duck lasagna. Everything was delicious! The second time we went for dinner and had all three courses, the braised beef was so tender and the chocolate and blood orange dessert was so yummy! Our last visit was the day before we left and went specifically for the veal Wellington, which did not disappoint. Wish we had this restaurant at home. The food, ambience and all the servers we had were wonderful!

A fantastic restaurant right in the heart of Avignon that truly stands out from the rest. The dishes are worthy of a Michelin star, the welcome and service are highly professional, and for wine lovers (and connoisseurs of fine wines), you'll be in heaven. I highly recommend it.

From the welcome to the service, everything was perfect. The flavor combinations were subtle and very pleasing, both visually and in terms of taste. Perfect.

A mixed experience: the food is tasty and original, the welcome is friendly, but the service is a little slow (hence the "Wanting a Job" sign). Special mention goes to the dessert, which is as original as it is delicious for anyone who enjoys apple dishes.

A restaurant I'll definitely keep in my list of favorites. Excellent food, a warm welcome (thank you, madam, for your helpful advice about Avignon 😀), and a very pleasant dining room. We had a wonderful time and our taste buds were delighted.
