A very good experience, everything was perfect: the food, the welcome, the interactions. We also appreciated the bike parking right across the street and the fact that our son had a similar meal to the adults but in a smaller portion – a real change from the often bland "children's menus" where nothing is actually cooked. The desserts are delicious, especially the salted caramel brioche. In short, excellent value for money, much better than many of the harborside restaurants.

Always a wonderful experience at L'Aile de Ré. The setting is lovely, the welcome warm, and the service attentive from start to finish. The dishes are delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with care. You can feel the professionalism and passion of the entire team. A truly excellent restaurant in Bois-Plage-en-Ré that I highly recommend.

Excellent food and a very pleasant setting (both inside and on the terrace).
The wood-burning stove is a real plus.
A must-try on the island, recommended to us for the mussels and French toast (and certainly for the rest of the menu).
The service was a bit overbearing for our taste, though.
