L'alivu sur Calenzana

We had a wonderful time! Thank you for the warm welcome and for being so patient with our children. It was the perfect ending to a delicious meal (special mention for the fries, probably the best on the island).

First impression: high prices and pretty decor... But, the restaurant is listed in the Petit Futé guide and very highly rated, so wanting to treat ourselves, we went in... What a great idea, and what a pleasant surprise! We ordered the brocciu lasagna and the suckling goat, a real treat, a delight for the taste buds, not to mention the very generous portions, and that's when we realized the price was truly justified. We had the chance to chat with the chef, a man passionate about his work, and it really shows in the food. Until we go back, I can only recommend this establishment.

We had a lovely time by the fireplace. The welcome and dinner were very good.

Easy free parking in the church square opposite the establishment. Quick and friendly service. House-aged beef. Good value for money.
