One weekend lunch, we chose the "Market Fresh" menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is wonderful, and the welcome and service were simply the best I've ever experienced in a restaurant of this caliber. The wine list is outstanding. I particularly appreciated the chef's visit to the dining room at the end of service. If I may make a suggestion, I would have enjoyed a small nibble with the aperitifs before the amuse-bouches arrived, but this doesn't detract from this very pleasant experience. I will definitely return.

L'Almandin, chef Frédéric Bacquié's Michelin-starred restaurant, is well worth a visit. One of the best restaurants in the Pyrénées-Orientales. His career path is remarkable. He spent about ten years with Christopher Coutanceau in La Rochelle before a deliberate return to his native region, including stints at Neptune and La Balette in Collioure. The chef loves raw, fresh, and local ingredients, reinventing seafood to surprise our palates, and we love it. The "Market Fresh" menu is generous: - Pressed Skate Wing by Olivier (Fennel - Confit Garlic); - Sea Bream by Olivier, Fillet vs. Fillet (Adrien's Last Squash - Honey - Rosemary) or Beef Fillet (Jerusalem Artichoke - Coffee); - Coffee and Chocolate. Very, very good.

A very nice establishment that's well worth a visit. The cuisine is very refined and surprisingly generous, even if the plates might seem a little empty at first glance! One small problem, though: a midge in the €17 cocktail – we'll just say that was bad luck. However, the gift certificate, which includes a meal for two, is very restrictive as it's only valid for lunch and only three days a week, excluding weekends. Furthermore, it costs €75, whereas a lunch reservation for the same meal is only €55. This isn't very fair or customer-friendly.

Overall, a truly wonderful gastronomic experience, with two real highlights: the perfectly cooked beef – meltingly tender, just seared, and bursting with flavor – and its onion accompaniment, which added remarkable depth and balance. Special mention also goes to the dessert, which was absolutely stunning, both in its textures and its perfect balance of sweetness.
Our only slight disappointment was that we didn't have the pleasure of a visit from the chef or Alexi from Top Chef, which we sincerely regret, as their presence always adds a valuable human touch to this level of cuisine.
But on the plate, it's a display of masterful execution.
