29/08/2026: Good evening! We ordered a selection of tapas for the whole family. Everyone was so friendly and lovely on the phone. We were absolutely delighted: the tapas were delicious! 😍 You absolutely must come here! We also bought a bottle of red wine to take away—it was truly delicious! 🍷 Everything was perfect! ❤️ We will definitely be back!

30/08/2026: What a shame this restaurant is "hidden" in a roundabout! If my friend hadn't told me about it, I would never have known it was here, and that would have been a real shame for my taste buds—a little gem! First of all, the welcome: a very friendly and welcoming woman seated us in the shade, just as we had requested. The menu arrived quickly, followed by the drinks, and then she took our order, taking the time to answer our questions. We opted for a hamburger, not very original when you're only 3km from the sea 😂, but the description given by the "waitress" made our mouths water, and we weren't disappointed. The homemade sauce, made by the owner who also works in the kitchen, is simply delicious, finger-licking good! And as they say in Spain, "a chuppar los dedos" (to lick your fingers), the caramelized onions, the meat cooked to my liking, rather rare, mmm 😋. The aioli is also homemade and very good. For dessert, my friend had pineapple carpaccio with a scoop of ice cream made by the owner, and I had a light and delicious lemon mousse with a scoop of ice cream. After this wonderful meal, we chatted with the owner and understood his desire to create homemade cuisine using fresh ingredients, adding his own personal touch. Decades of experience and 18 years cooking here in this restaurant, which is open year-round, are, for me, the sign of someone serious and dedicated to the preparation of his dishes. Finally, I would say that he puts his whole heart into creating this cuisine with a deep desire to delight his guests, and I say guests because here you quickly forget the word "customer" as the relationship is so easily established. Thank you to your duo, which works so well together; we will be back to see you. During our conversation, we mentioned couscous and calf's head with gribiche sauce in the coming months, among other things, which are sure to tantalize our taste buds. In short, as you will have gathered, today it's a real favorite, both for the cuisine and for two charming people. Don't hesitate to look up the address on Maps, Google, Waze, etc. 😊 You won't regret it.

05/08/2026: I went there to reserve 3 sunbeds (I have some local ancestry) and the person told me that everything was fully booked until next Sunday without looking at their schedule. However, when my friend called them the next day to check, because given the reception we had doubts about the veracity of their information, we managed to get 3 sunbeds very easily for the next day.

03/09/2026: The restaurant was decent, but the experience was rather disappointing in several respects. The waiter was very kind and welcoming, but also extremely rushed and stressed, which made the meal rather unrelenting. We were asked if we wanted an aperitif, but the main courses arrived almost as soon as we started. Regarding the drinks, the Coca-Cola was listed at €4.20. Admittedly, the quantity was the same as a glass bottle, but in a restaurant at this price point, one would legitimately expect a glass bottle rather than a can. It wasn't so much the can itself that bothered us, but the lack of communication about it. At €4.20, a can can give the customer a feeling of unpleasant surprise, or even deception. The mussels were good, no complaints there. However, the fries were frozen and frankly not up to the standard of the rest of the meal. When we were asked if everything was alright, we simply gave our feedback constructively and without malice. Unfortunately, the waiter immediately became defensive, explaining that they were out of glass bottles this summer and that we needed to "call the supplier." This was completely unrelated to our request. We weren't asking about the supplier; we were simply pointing out that a little information on the menu or when we ordered would have prevented this negative impression. It was primarily the reaction that disappointed us. After that, the bill arrived without a proper "thank you" or "goodbye." It's a shame, because we had come specifically with no intention of leaving a negative review and had taken the time to provide constructive feedback directly to the restaurant. To be more nuanced: it's not a bad restaurant. The food is good, the staff can be welcoming, and the location overlooking the harbor is pleasant. But unfortunately, it feels like a "seaside resort restaurant" where the customer is treated more as a passing visitor than someone they want to return to. So just be aware: you'll probably be well received, but don't necessarily expect a particularly refined experience or a great deal of attention to customer feedback. A passable restaurant with good food, but it mostly gives the impression that you're just a number: you come once, you pay, and then they move on to the next customer. It's a shame, because with a little more listening and attention, the experience could be significantly better.

02/09/2026: A customer for many years, we had lunch here today. Always so friendly, very pleasant service, generous and tasty dishes. While not the absolute best, it's a reliable choice in St Cyprien port. No tourist traps. Be aware that on weekends it's best to book ahead as it's often full until closing time.

29/08/2026: Excellent cuisine with innovative and creative dishes. A very good children's menu is also available. Good value for money, especially considering the €37 set menu. The homemade sangria was delicious.

28/08/2026: After several lunches...we all agreed that the welcome, service, support, quality, and price meant we would return without hesitation...and soon for my wife's birthday...greetings to the whole team...

05/09/2026: Excellent. I highly recommend it. The mixed fish was fresh and well-prepared, and the tiramisu was very well done (it's not the most complicated dessert, but it's too often poorly executed). The service was efficient and very friendly, and the price was very reasonable. They have some great cocktails. I would gladly return.

04/09/2026: We felt welcome from the very first moment. Since we were too early for dinner, we passed the time with a delicious cocktail. We were also lucky enough to find it was happy hour. Then it was time for dinner, and it was incredibly delicious and sophisticated. I had octopus with yogurt, mint, apple, celery, and potatoes. I've rarely eaten such an exceptional dish. The presentation of the food was also excellent. I would especially like to commend the incredibly friendly and attentive service. The server was extremely helpful, and communication worked well despite our limited language skills. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

22/08/2026: We had dinner Friday night at L’Âne Rouge in Saint-Cyprien, right across from the port, and we had a wonderful evening! 😊 We chose tapas platters, with all the ingredients and preparations being homemade. Everything was truly excellent, flavorful, and beautifully presented. 😋 You can taste the quality and care that goes into the dishes, and we enjoyed every bite from start to finish! A fantastic place that we highly recommend, both for the food and for the atmosphere and setting overlooking the port. ❤️ We will definitely be back!

22/05/2026: One weekend lunch, we chose the "Market Fresh" menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is wonderful, and the welcome and service were simply the best I've ever experienced in a restaurant of this caliber. The wine list is outstanding. I particularly appreciated the chef's visit to the dining room at the end of service. If I may make a suggestion, I would have enjoyed a small nibble with the aperitifs before the amuse-bouches arrived, but this doesn't detract from this very pleasant experience. I will definitely return.

23/07/2026: Excellent restaurant located on this beautiful square overlooking the beach. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the dishes are generous and delicious, and very well prepared! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! Homemade aioli would have been perfect; it's a shame to have store-bought aioli, even if it's good, it's just not the same as fresh, homemade aioli ☺️ I look forward to returning; highly recommended! 01/09/2026: A very good experience at this seaside restaurant in Saint-Cyprien. The drinks are excellent, including good beers and a nice selection of wines. The mixed seafood platter is particularly generous and substantial: tuna, cuttlefish, mussels, prawns… Everything was well-seasoned, fresh, and flavorful. The only slight drawback: the clams were cold, with a slightly watery taste and little flavor. The cheese course is rather basic. I would have appreciated more local and authentic products, for example, a Pyrenees tomme cheese with fig jam, rather than a more classic Camembert and goat cheese. The desserts, on the other hand, are homemade and truly excellent. Special mention also goes to the team of three servers: professional, responsive, smiling, and very friendly. Around €100 for two people, enjoying ourselves: very good value for money considering the portions, the quality, and the setting. We will definitely come back if the owner invests in air conditioning for the summer season.

25/07/2026: Don't be fooled by the neighborhood or the storefront of this little bar/restaurant... the real magic happens inside. A warm welcome, smiles, and wood-fired cooking, please! The meats are excellent, served with fries and salad! Simply delicious. Bravo!

03/08/2026: We spent our vacation in this beautiful residence. The suite with a harbor/sea view is very nice and spacious. The property and rooms are very clean, and the staff is excellent.
