l'alpe sur Saint-Sorlin-D'Arves

It was a wonderful culinary discovery, but also a wonderful human one. Piou and Joëlle are two radiant and warm people, and their warmth shines through in this mountain restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Excellent welcome and very good food at a good price! The restaurant is open for the few summer holidaymakers, which is very much appreciated!

Peeou and Joelle are wonderful hosts. Excellent food, very child friendly location and incredibly helpful. My child's walking shoe broke just as we arrived, and they very kindly fixed it so we could get back down the mountain. Open during the summer season and the ski season, an excellent stop on a hike down from the Plan du Moulin chairlift! Affectionately named "The Pink Elephant restaurant" by my children thanks to the brilliant inflatable Pink Elephant you can find on the roof during the winter time - can't miss it from the chairlift!

A wonderful family meal. The croque monsieur, the Alpine salad, the pasta...everything was perfect! And the view of the Aiguilles...simply magnificent!

Everything was perfect! Delicious food (special mention for the pork loin with mushroom and whisky sauce) no matter what dish you ordered, and very friendly service, we were welcomed like family by Tristan!

This restaurant proves that you can eat well at a mountain restaurant at a reasonable price, especially with the daily specials. As is often the case, it's the drinks that make the bill steep. But service at altitude comes at a price.

Great experience, sheltered from the wind and in full sun, we had some very good dishes (beef, Camembert...), I recommend it.

We tried the bar. Its location is always pleasant and away from the slopes. Very good exposure and friendly staff.
