L'Alsace à quai sur Lorient

A ham hock with Munster cheese sauce... it's hearty, yet melts in your mouth, but the sauce makes the meat so tempting you could eat it endlessly, without ever feeling hungry. You can even ask for more sauce. And before that, there are the cod fritters; it's really rare to find fritters this flavorful, crispy on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside. Most of the time, they're oily and overdone, but these are perfect. And then there's the rum baba, with a touch of coconut in the whipped cream. The whipped cream is amazing, but the baba is a veritable fortress! I didn't order that; after the ham hock, you can imagine, I was craving a break. So I opted for an Alsatian palate cleanser, plum brandy, and a raspberry scoop. I was in heaven. At the counter, someone—Kaine—explained to me that cooking should be simple. I agree. When does the internship start? I'll conclude with a word about the service: energetic and attentive, almost touching.

Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it

A wonderful discovery by chance. An Alsatian menu in Vannes, in a lovely atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed a tarte flambée and an exceptional rum baba.

The food exceeded expectations: generous portions and delicious. The service was also friendly and welcoming. No complaints whatsoever, I highly recommend it.

There's not much to say, except that it's perfect, from the welcome to the food to the owners. A truly excellent example for the entire industry.

The price was excessive considering the quality and portion sizes offered. The dishes were very basic and lacked character for the price. Overall, a disappointing experience; we won't be returning.

Whether you're just passing through or live in Lorient and the surrounding area, there's only one place you absolutely mustn't miss: L'ALSACE A QUAI. It's truly delicious! A very warm welcome awaits you.
