Good broth-based food at very reasonable prices, but very crowded, extremely hot, and only one server for three rooms, so we waited an hour before being served. Personally, I prefer to pay a little more and be treated better. It wasn't the server's fault; he was excellent, he was just too busy. It's a management issue, really.

Bouillons restaurants became popular for their simple food for workers and currently attract a diverse clientele. The menu is fixed, the food is simple, it's worth checking out, but you can eat better somewhere for the same price.

Marrow bone served warm at lunchtime, no more lomoelle. Flank steak okay, but fries were awful. Average food, but a nice spot on the terrace.

Found this restaurant by chance, a very pleasant surprise. The prices were reasonable, especially considering it was a sweltering day and the restaurant wasn't air-conditioned. What a shame.

15/06/2026: Very happy with this restaurant. The staff were very attentive and professional, and the food was delicious and generous. In short, perfect in every way. Don't miss it if you're in the area. (The gentleman with the stain on his t-shirt)
14/06/2026: A wonderful place right next to the Cathedral! The food was absolutely delicious. The onion soup was one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot of onion soups!). The foie gras, oysters, and mushroom tarte flambée were all excellent. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very cozy. We sat outside in the courtyard, which had such a lovely atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Strasbourg and looking for a memorable meal!
