The welcome at this restaurant could be much better!!!! (see explanation) BRAVO to the chef for his EXCELLENCE but the RECEPTION was the complete opposite: Cold and deplorable We came during the second week of January 2026, but were disappointed on our visit on Friday, January 23rd: explanation ==> Perfect cuisine, pleasant setting, but we were disappointed “Reservation by phone on Monday, January 19th at 10:23 am for dinner on Friday, January 23rd at 7:30 pm: mistake with the day for our dinner, which was scheduled for Saturday by the restaurant, who told us: the chef is working alone, so it's impossible: no apology and no courtesy. The quality of the food is paramount, but so is the welcome! What a disappointment!!!”

The setting was like a reimagined Roman cellar, the dishes were well-presented, delicious, and refined. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and had a wonderful time.

We have eaten at L’Amandier a dozen times over several years and it is always excellent! We drive 20 min from Les Issambres and it is always worth it! Only 6 tables in an intimate setting (like a cave). Go for the food not the view (there is none). The reward is the creative and delectable cuisine by the chef and the excellent service by his spouse who works the room.

We came for dinner as a couple on a weekday evening. A warm atmosphere, discreet and friendly service, and a delicious meal. I highly recommend it.

27/02/2026: An absolutely unforgettable day. Neither photos nor videos can truly capture the beauty of the venue; you have to experience it to understand how unique and magical this place is. Everything was magnificent, perfect, filled with beauty and emotion… Masterfully orchestrated by an incredible team. Kindness, attentiveness, and availability perfectly sum up the entire staff of the bastide and its owners. A perfect wedding!! We were guided from beginning to end, and I must say, that was truly appreciated! And what can I say about Lorelei and her sublime floral creations! My bouquet was marvelous 🥰🥰🥰 A huge thank you to you all. And for future brides and grooms who have questions, do as we did. Go and meet the woman who made this dream a wonderful reality. The venue is magnificent, the food was perfect, and our guests were also swept away by the magic of our wedding.
