While passing through St Aignan, we discovered this very welcoming little restaurant. Very good dishes, the tea and gourmet coffee super good. Thanks to the server for his responsiveness and kindness, and thanks to the owner who is also very friendly.

While passing through Saint-Aignan, we followed the overall reviews of this restaurant, which are very positive. In the end, we were quite disappointed. I wanted to give it a 3.5, but it was impossible, and giving it a 4 was also unthinkable given our experience. The place is quite nice, with modern and colorful decor. The welcome was reasonable, no fuss, even if it lacked a bit of enthusiasm. Regarding the culinary offerings, it is possible that my standards are higher than average, especially for the pizzas, given the very positive reviews, but coming from a region close to Italy, the dough is a bit too hard and not soft enough. No ingredients are really cooked on it, just a basic assembly, which certainly does the job. We can't say it's bad either, mind you, it's just not a great pizza. On the other hand, the menu advertises a "reblochonne" pizza with reblochon, but it ends up being "tartiflette cheese" (cheaper and not as good) on it, which has nothing to do with reblochon, it's very, very limited, it's better to mention it on the menu. Even if it were cheaper, there are still pizzas for over €20, we expect to have more quality on them. Then the desserts are not homemade, why not, it's a choice, but the ice cream is still quite low-end, a very green pistachio doesn't lie. It could have been served with a dash of whipped cream, a little decoration, at least something that showed a certain enthusiasm to satisfy the customer. An ultimately disappointing experience and given the "online" reputation, I tell myself that I may have been unlucky, but there are still signs that don't lie. For the price, we expect certain products of better quality. Mixed experience.

If you're looking for pizza in St. Aignan, go there with your eyes closed! It's perfect for families or solo travelers. I recommend going early because it fills up quickly.

Excellent homemade meal with fresh produce, the only downside is that when we call to reserve we are told "we don't take reservations" and when we arrive on site we see 2 tables with a "Reserved" easel (I think reserved for acquaintances or locals), it's a shame, so if you want to try this place of restoration make sure to arrive 10 minutes before the first service at 7 p.m. or the second at 9 p.m.

Very pleasant welcome, efficient and friendly server. The pizzas were really good, as was the ice cream for dessert. Friendly owner behind the pizza oven; you can see he loves using good ingredients to make them. Note that you can pay with holiday vouchers.
