16/02/2026: Amazing new chef + team + menu + quality = this place is spectacular
I'd been a few times to the previous itiration of this restaurant and always left somehow deflated and disappointed. But decided, tonight, to try the revamped version (same name and address; new chef, new menu, new decor, and totally different quality), and was astounded: it was really one of the very best meals I've had in Toulouse in a year. The new chef is bound to be considered a star sooner or later, if he isn't already; I fear he might soon move up the ranks to the more Michelin-priced restaurants, which would be a shame, because this place is still very reasonable priced (given the location), with a very accessible (if you know what I mean - none of the inscrutable "michelin" type sprinklings) menu; decent serving sizes; excellent service (and, a rarity in Toulouse: prompt and smiling waitstaff). The menu is packed with pleasingly innovative yet perfectly traditional haute cuisine choices (langoustines! Ris de veau! volaille!); the ingredients are fresh and delectable; the desserts are astounding; and the overall quality is as high as it gets. Kudos to the whole team, and especially the chef!
14/02/2026: We came for dinner tonight for Valentine's Day and were simply blown away.
The cuisine is exquisite: clean, precise flavors, perfectly balanced tastes, beautiful pairings, and true mastery in every dish.
You can feel a genuine commitment to quality and true gastronomic dedication from start to finish.
The service was also impeccable: attentive, professional, and very pleasant.
With the new chef and the new decor, the establishment has clearly taken a leap forward.
A truly wonderful experience, which I wholeheartedly recommend.
