I recommend it 200%! On the recommendation of the owners of "Les Jardins de Chiron," we had lunch at this superb restaurant this summer. The decor is lovely, the service was perfect, the staff were delightful, and the food was a true feast. We were a family of four, and it was a hit with everyone!

A truly wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time at L’Ancienne Gare. The food is truly remarkable, with high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and above all, a great deal of care and finesse in the preparation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is on par with the food: friendly, professional, and attentive. You can feel the genuine passion behind every dish and the desire to please the customers. I'm speechless!! EXCELLENT!!!! From the location to the meal, the service, the welcome, the staff, everything was INCREDIBLE! Special mention for the lobster bisque panna cotta and the tender beef tenderloin. I truly ENJOYED it! Thank you!!!

We went for dinner as a family yesterday. The meals for both adults and children were delicious and refined. Everything is homemade and beautifully presented. This is our third time eating there, and we're never disappointed! The service at lunchtime is just as excellent! The staff is attentive and welcoming, and the explanations of the dishes are very clear! A highly recommended restaurant!

A wonderful time spent with our family and two children (5 and 7 years old). The staff are incredibly friendly and competent. The children's menu is more than generous and excellent (starter, main course, dessert, and drink). For adults, the food is excellent and homemade. If you're near Anduze or Sauve, don't hesitate, this is the place to go. Thank you to the team! 👍👏👏

03/09/2026: Located just before Sauve, Le Comptoir de l’Evesque welcomes you with a cuisine prepared to order that, unlike the outside heat, seemed to be sprinting at 100 km/h, refuses to be rushed. So we ate inside, with the air conditioning providing some relief, and it was probably the best decision of the day. Beautifully presented dishes, professional service, a relaxed pace: here, they cook for you, not for the clock. It's a place where you eat well, where you can breathe, and where no one serves you food that's been microwaved.
01/09/2026: I would like to thank the restaurant "Le Comptoir de l'Evesque" for allowing me to spend a wonderful time with my mother during a Sunday lunch! Under the summer sun, we enjoyed every dish we ordered, which was served professionally by a kind, long-haired blonde woman. We admired her ability to handle a variety of situations, always with a big smile!
