A wonderful discovery during my stay in the north! This was my first experience in a traditional Flemish pub. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you feel right at home. The food is high quality and absolutely delicious! Especially the pork fat spread that's brought to you at the beginning of the meal with bread, and the typical dishes are simply delicious and homemade. The tables are even arranged side-by-side, like at a family meal, with the grilled meats cooking right in front of you! However, even though I had an excellent meal, I was a little disappointed with the fries, which weren't homemade, and I expected the staff to be a bit more friendly... That said, it didn't stop me from having a great time and enjoying a fantastic meal!
