Discovered a wonderful spot in Calvi. We'd walked past it for over 10 years, thinking it was just another tourist trap.
Nope, it's a restaurant for gourmet tourists who love fresh seafood; a talented chef working alongside her father, a fisherman (his boat is on the quay right in front). The service was friendly and unpretentious, and we particularly enjoyed everything. It's not cheap, but I'd rather pay a little more for this quality than spend a little less every day on mediocre food.
We tried the linguine with lobster, spider crab ravioli, brown meagre, soup, pavlova… and a delicious strawberry tree liqueur.
Less than we expected. When you choose a restaurant of this supposed category, you expect a wide menu. If that doesn't worry you, go ahead. The food is correct and well prepared.
