The music was a bit questionable, ranging from classic French songs (Sardou, Dalida, Pierre Bachelet…) to current cheesy tunes. Otherwise, the drinks were pleasant and the price was reasonable.

First time here with a friend, but not the last. What can I say? The food was excellent, the waitresses/waitresses were friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the decor was unique. We loved it.

10/07/2026: What a place!! Everywhere you look there is something to discover. Before or after you eat, make sure you explore the many rooms of this wonderful restaurant. The owner sure has an eye for the exquisite. We ate in the exterior courtyard as the weather was 28c and our server Stephanie was so lovely and very helpful with my wife’s nut allergies. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return again when in the area.
06/07/2026: We were delighted with our visit, which was recommended by a friend. We had a wonderful meal, and the service was neither slow nor rushed, just perfectly paced. We had a fantastic waitress with short hair on the terrace; thank you, madam, for your work—you can tell you're a true professional! ☺️ We will gladly return.

Le Grand Café de l'Univers

10/07/2026: Excellent service. A very nice restaurant, and air-conditioned, which seems to be a rarity in Saint Quentin. The food was excellent and plentiful: I ate too much, but that's my fault, I wanted to try everything. Good value for money. What more can I say?
14/06/2026: Food and service were all just a bit meh. Nothing offensive but nothing spectacular either. I suspect they're other restaurants close by who would offer a better standard of food and service.
