Great little restaurant overlooking the Loire. No wait, super friendly owner, incredibly fast service. The meat was cooked perfectly. Simple yet varied choices for both main courses and desserts. A fantastic place to eat.

We went for lunch today with my husband and sister-in-law. The staff were very welcoming, smiling, and pleasant (which is very rare these days). The meat was very succulent and tender. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Hello, I had the good fortune, pleasure, and privilege of dining there twice in a row during a business trip. Thursday evening, as my hotel (Le Rivage) didn't offer dining, and I must say the reception staff gave me excellent advice. I started with a walk along the Loire River, made even more beautiful by an incredible sunset. Then I arrived at L'Antre Amis, whose entrance is as secure as a jewelry store on Place Vendôme 😋. Customers already seated kindly informed the waitress of my presence, and she welcomed me into their cozy haven with a big smile. The atmosphere was very inviting, with a fire burning on the framed TV screen. The people seemed comfortable, and I quickly understood why. After a brief hesitation, I opted for a delicious 300g ribeye steak, a real treat, accompanied by fluffy fries. Even the green salad was good. The meal was preceded and then accompanied by a delicious Dominican rum, kindly recommended by my host. The meal ended with homemade caramel tiramisu. A very good choice, because the next day, what a surprise to learn that we would be returning as part of my trip! A very nice initiative and, above all, a very good choice 😋 This time, seated upstairs, we were the only ones there, and thankfully so, given how noisy some people were 😅. Fourteen people at a table can get noisy quickly. This time, I had tomato juice, the burger I'd been hesitating over the day before (still rare), and it was when dessert came that I appreciated my choice from the previous day, as they were out of tiramisu. (Everything is homemade.) So, I ordered a gourmet coffee to tide me over until the end of the day. In short, a culinary delight over two days, and just as pleasant in terms of the welcome, the advice, and the service. It's obvious that on my next trip to Gien, I'll be sure to explore and enjoy the rest of their menu. See you soon, I hope.
