The service is very attentive despite the road the staff have to cross.

A lovely restaurant in Gien. We got a nice table outside even without a reservation. The menu is concise but features regional dishes, and everything is freshly prepared. The salad with goat cheese and the Camembert were delicious.
As a "casual" restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised.

Simple menu but good execution: the steak tartare was excellent and the Andouilette (not a dish everyone will appreciate) was also excellent. The Italian salad was very good and the creme brulee was a hit with my mother (and I).
Note that the restaurant primarily serves meat and is thus not the best option for non-meat eaters/vegetarians.
We stumbled upon Gien and highly recommend this restaurant. We were lucky enough to dine by the water. The staff was fantastic, and the portions were generous and delicious.
