L'Arbalaise sur Saint-Brieuc

So, I'm pretty consistent; every time, it's the ribeye! I've read some complaints... I can't believe it! This ribeye is perfect, aged just right, with, of course, a bit of "good" fat in it... Seared, but always perfectly rare, and an impeccable blue cheese sauce! Nothing to complain about! The fries aren't Binch fries, but many prefer the sweeter (darker) varieties... "real fries," of course. The service is great, and by coming fairly regularly, you end up being recognized and feeling that "downtown family" atmosphere.

Passing through St. Brieuc yesterday, my husband, son, and I stopped for lunch. The food was excellent, a real treat! The staff were friendly and smiling! Highly recommended!

For our first visit to the historic heart of Saint-Brieuc, we enjoyed this charming, slightly retro restaurant with its excellent service. The food is simple and very good. They even have real cloth napkins! The price is quite reasonable. I recommend this establishment.

A superb family lunch with my grandparents. We enjoyed a mixed salad, a pork popiette, and a delicious Breton far. A warm welcome, impeccable and friendly service. We only had a short stopover in St. Brieuc and were warmly welcomed at L'Arbalaise, complete with all our belongings. Despite the restaurant being full, the waiter was incredibly patient and friendly, overcoming any language barriers with pleasant ease. The team also demonstrated great flexibility when it came to the food, accommodating any food intolerances without hesitation and finding flexible solutions for vegetarians. We truly felt very welcome and comfortable. We couldn't have found a better place for our stopover. Many thanks to the entire team!
