A good place with a friendly, unpretentious welcome. A smile and professionalism are guaranteed. There was a bit of a wait between the starter and the main course. The dishes are classic but good, accompanied by a nice glass of red wine.

A fantastic experience for two hikers passing through, on a March lunchtime. The menu was clearly displayed on the chalkboard. The service was excellent, with attentive follow-up throughout the meal. The atmosphere was also great, with an invigorating playlist playing in the restaurant! As for the food, the burger was truly excellent and the tandoori chicken was very good.

So, I'm pretty consistent; every time, it's the ribeye! I've read some complaints... I can't believe it! This ribeye is perfect, aged just right, with, of course, a bit of "good" fat in it... Seared, but always perfectly rare, and an impeccable blue cheese sauce! Nothing to complain about! The fries aren't Binch fries, but many prefer the sweeter (darker) varieties... "real fries," of course. The service is great, and by coming fairly regularly, you end up being recognized and feeling that "downtown family" atmosphere.

Passing through St. Brieuc yesterday, my husband, son, and I stopped for lunch. The food was excellent, a real treat! The staff were friendly and smiling! Highly recommended!

20/07/2026: Esprit de Famille was recommended to me. I decided to make my first visit for lunch with my grandparents. The welcome was impeccable. We were quickly seated near the window. The menu is simple but effective. We all had the smoked salmon as a starter; it was delicious. The duck parmentier was a little dry: the bottom of the dish could have used a bit more sauce, and the mashed potatoes could have benefited from an extra spoonful of butter. For dessert, the brioche French toast was delightful: it was warm, sweet, and fluffy—it was divine. There was a bit of a wait (they turned away many people without reservations), but the setting is pleasant. It's possible to park directly on the street. Thank you to our waitress, Jeanne, for her exemplary service, her kindness, and her energy. I will gladly return.

24/06/2026: I came for lunch today and was very pleased with the welcome from the two young waitresses who were there at the time (very warm and welcoming)... and also very satisfied with my sandwich. I will gladly return and highly recommend it!
30/05/2026: It's best not to be allergic to any of the food displayed in the showcase... the items end up mixed together... even though it's the start of service... the utensils aren't changed or even wiped down between sandwiches. A few years ago, the staff was much more attentive to this. It's a shame. That day, the salad was brown... the other items weren't any better colored.
