Lunch yesterday was very good with a seafood platter followed by fish of the day and a steak. Both were well cooked and a tasty sauce with the steak. I nice bottle of white wine and very good service. Finished with a chocolate dessert and coffee. Perfect position overlooking the sea.

A very warm welcome.
The staff were very attentive; thank you for arranging wheelchair access for my husband.
The meal was excellent, especially the fisherman's platter and the beef dish.
We will gladly return.

Friday the 11th at lunchtime, meal for 8 people. Excellent meal, kindness, welcome, and attentive service. We had two people with walkers with us, and all the staff went out of their way to accommodate them. The residents of our care home were delighted; we will be back.

Mussels and fries, a beer 🍺, top-notch. The service was very friendly and professional. The Liège coffee was impressive and great for those with a sweet tooth. We were seated on the street side, but it was a really lovely experience. I recommend it.

A restaurant not to be missed if you're passing through Houlgate. The setting is lovely, especially on the terrace overlooking the sea. As for the food, there's something to please everyone, from savory crepes and salads to traditional dishes, various mussel dishes, and of course, pizzas, which are also available to take away if you'd like to enjoy them on the beach while watching the sunset.
And let's not forget the staff; they provide the kind of excellent service we all appreciate, with a touch of friendliness. They'll go out of their way to accommodate even the simplest requests, or even set a table for you if possible, in case you haven't been able to make a reservation.
I highly recommend it. 😉

No oysters. No whelks, no mussels... basically nothing left :) except pizza. But why are you open? The service was friendly nonetheless, what a shame.
