30/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! The place is charming and peaceful, and the food is excellent with discreet, pleasant, and efficient service. The Norman cheese platter is also worth trying, as are the desserts. In short, it was a great pleasure shared with friends; there were four of us.

12/06/2026: Truly wonderful French cuisine. With a menu featuring exactly the right combinations. And well-priced. The Entrecote is amazing. My wife loves fish and ordered the Gambas and oysters. Super fresh and great quality. The desserts offered just the right variety. Highly recommended. Do make a reservation for the evening. Very busy.

Impeccable from start to finish, with a smile to boot (it's such a treat!). And the food... absolutely amazing! 🤤 Everything was absolutely excellent, fresh, and perfectly cooked.
In short, flawless, I recommend it 2000%! 🫶 Fair prices and a fantastic atmosphere. Thank you for this wonderful experience! 🎉

21/08/2026: My parents, who were on holiday in Houlgate for the week, came to eat.
My mother ordered mussels, but they arrived overcooked. She called the waiters back, and they took the dish away.
Finally, the owner returned with the dish, put it down, and said the mussels were cooked perfectly and that they couldn't do any better! He left the dish and left. This reaction is unacceptable! This is an abuse of power against retirees!

The fries were so-so and under-salted.
The service in tracksuits needs improvement.
The mussel pot was dirty on the outside and looked more than questionable on the inside.

13/08/2026: The tradition isn't bad, but everything else is mediocre at best. The waitresses are unfriendly, never smile, and don't speak clearly, making you feel like you're bothering them. They didn't even offer a gesture of goodwill for the last cookie, which was broken in two. Admittedly, we arrived late, but there were only two sandwiches left to choose from, while for the next customers, they offered to make new ones! In short, they're lucky to be practically the only bakery in Houlgate.
12/08/2026: The two waitresses were absolutely unfriendly, showing no respect whatsoever for the customers, and of course, no hello or goodbye. The sandwiches were very average, and the pastries were frozen. We love it.

This charming little family-run inn offers excellent value for money and is ideally located just a few kilometers from the sea.
The welcome and service, provided by the father and daughter, are truly attentive and personalized.
The local produce is superb, and the dishes are very fresh and prepared with care. I highly recommend this place!
22/05/2026: Fantastic overnight stay! The hotel was recently taken over and was a wonderful discovery.
The owner was very friendly and dedicated, the meals were generous, and the proximity to the sea was lovely.
Breakfast was superb, with a good selection of regional cheeses, cured meats, jams, and more.
