Highly recommended, as always on our visits to Calais. One of the best value-for-money establishments near the Place d'Armes. The staff are polite, smiling, and helpful. We also had a very good meal. See you soon!

They offer an affordable lunch for €15. Special dietary requirements are accommodated, and requests are welcome as everything is freshly cooked. However, the cappuccino with cream is quite expensive at €5.50. The food itself is reasonably priced.

A good brasserie that keeps evolving, the prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants in the same location. The service is impeccable; I'm a picky eater, and frankly, I'm never disappointed. The sea bream is truly excellent. The lamb shank is also excellent. A great restaurant to try without hesitation; it really delivers.

A very good experience; we came without a reservation. Everything was perfect: friendliness, service, price—everything was there. The food was very good. I would just make one comment: I think the restaurant manager should be more discreet when addressing her staff. We were at a table where all we could hear was this woman reprimanding her employees. Like, there are drinks on the counter waiting, what are they doing?! It was just a bottle of water... There's a way to speak to staff in front of customers, I think.

Third visit to this restaurant. The first two experiences were very satisfactory, which makes this last one all the more disappointing. Having come for Grandmothers' Day, we noticed several unavailability points as early as 1 p.m., with some dishes already unavailable and a rather limited menu. The gourmet coffee was also quite average. For a bill of €160, we expected better planning for what was sure to be a very busy day. On the plus side: the welcome and service were pleasant. We arrived around 1 p.m. this Sunday, Grandmothers' Day, which doesn't seem particularly late for lunch service. Upon arrival, the suggested dish was foie gras, not the scallops mentioned in your reply. Furthermore, some dishes were already unavailable, notably the sea bream. Regarding the wine, we had ordered a half-bottle of Pouilly-Fuissé; a half-bottle of Sancerre was brought to us instead without any mention that the requested wine was no longer available. Fortunately, we noticed this before the restaurant opened. Your response suggests that these issues did not occur, however, this is simply what we observed during our visit. My review therefore accurately reflects the experience we had that day, which is the very essence of a customer review.
