l'Ardoise sur Angers

Very good restaurant with a warm welcome. The fish was excellent, but the portion was a bit small, which was a shame. The young rooster was perfect. The hazelnut dessert was delicious. There was a bit of a wait between courses, and the dining room was a little noisy.

We went there based on the reviews and were disappointed. The wait was far too long, I didn't like my ravioli at all... the dessert was overpriced and not very good either, and the noise was awful. You couldn't even hear yourself speak... I would never go back

A lovely place, a beautiful and comfortable dining room, and a meal that met our expectations in terms of both appetizers and main courses. The desserts are not homemade. They are supplied by "Artisan Passionné," a pastry chef in the city center, and are clearly not up to the standard of the rest of the meal. It's a shame to end the meal on such a disappointing note. The service is friendly and pleasant but very haphazard (appetizer plates not cleared before the main courses arrived, cutlery forgotten...).

The setting is very pleasant, the indoor dining area is spacious with high ceilings. The service is professional and the staff are friendly, which is a real pleasure. The dishes are of a very high standard, made with quality ingredients; the wild boar was cooked to perfection and the polenta was creamy 👌🏼 The scallops were also excellent. For dessert, we tried the tarte tatin and the tiramisu, both also very good, well done! The open kitchen is a bonus; you can see it when you arrive and when you leave. We will be back!

A bistronomic restaurant with creative and delicious cuisine. Warm welcome, smiling service, elegant and generous dishes... a wonderful discovery in Angers!

Dinner for 5 at 8 pm on a Thursday evening... Two people wanted risotto. It was no longer available. So we chose another dish... which was also no longer available. We were very disappointed with this restaurant... However, the service was very good.

I had a great time; the pork ribs and side dishes were delicious. Perfect for a romantic meal. Thank you!
