l'Ardoise sur Angers

We went there for a family lunch on the weekend while we were visiting the town. The food was great, the fish and meat were high quality, well cooked and seasoned. On each dish, great attention was given to the sauce and the presentation which really made the dishes stand out. The lunch menu is very affordable given the quality of the food. Highly recommended. The staff did a great job too. Reservation might be needed during the week.

A top-notch culinary experience. Locally sourced products prepared with care at a reasonable price. A children's menu that finally included real breaded chicken. The dessert was very good.

Best restaurant of the year, the staff are incredibly attentive and caring. And the dishes are superb and sophisticated. I highly recommend the duck breast, which is a winner in any cooking method.

A truly wonderful place, highly recommended. The cuisine is refined, the service professional, and the wine list well-curated. I enthusiastically tried the Spritz Local, being a big Aperol fan, and was pleasantly surprised: it was excellent, in the same style but more natural. A must-try. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was top-notch. The profiteroles, while not particularly original, were very well made. A small suggestion: serving the chocolate in a separate container would allow everyone to add as much as they like.
