L'ardoise d'Audrey et Nico sur Saint-Maximin-La-Sainte-Baume

First time dining in the north and I wasn't disappointed at all! A very warm welcome, a varied menu with something for both children and adults. We were a group of 5 (6 including the kitten, who was accepted without any problems). The prices were reasonable, although the children's menu was a bit pricey. The food was very good quality and the portions were generous. No complaints whatsoever; we'll definitely be back if we return to the north!

Excellent restaurant! My boyfriend had the duck, which was superb, and I chose a really delicious burger. The desserts were also wonderful. The service was quick, and the servers were welcoming and very friendly. We hadn't made a reservation but were seated immediately. We were delighted with our meal and would happily recommend this restaurant!

A wonderful discovery! The restaurant is welcoming, the menu is varied, and the food is excellent. A huge thank you to the entire team, who were remarkably kind and looked after our little boy with great care and attention. This truly contributed to our excellent family experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this place, which also boasts a lovely view of the Place d'Armes in Calais.

Lovely place, incredible food, very friendly and welcoming staff. We came late and they very kindly let us come in and order, further we don’t speak French, yet the staff were all accommodating and patient with us, a magnificent experience

We had a wonderful time! We ordered scallops and sea bream: we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food is excellent, made with high-quality ingredients, and all at a very reasonable price. The ambiance greatly enhances the experience: the decor is lovely and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The service was also top-notch. A special thank you to the bespectacled waiter who was extremely pleasant and kind throughout our meal. The owner is also very welcoming and truly attentive to her customers. Just one small, but kind, comment: it's a bit of a shame to see the manager sometimes be a little too strict and shout at her staff during service. They do their jobs very well, and this kind of tension tends to slightly dampen the otherwise warm atmosphere of the restaurant. It remains a very good place to eat well, and we highly recommend it!

The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are especially generous! Go without hesitation. (Family of 5, including 2 children)

We came for our wedding anniversary, the food was excellent, the staff were very professional and friendly, the tables for two are a bit small but otherwise the setting is magnificent, we will be back and best of luck
