I told the owner I'd compare his lamb shank to the one I'd had the day before at La Belle Idée. He didn't ask for my verdict in the end. Here it is: The gratin dauphinois was indeed better, although somewhat unstructured. However, the lamb shank was less generous, less creamy, and less melt-in-your-mouth; it turned out to be drier. Which didn't stop me from finishing the plate.

Absolutely amazing! Ideally located in the heart of Grenoble. A warm and friendly welcome. The food is consistently excellent. A varied menu with something for everyone. The dishes are both delicious and generous. The service is quick and attentive. We had a fantastic time at a very reasonable price. Thank you to the kitchen and staff for this wonderful experience. 18/07/2026: Had two gluten free crepes. Very nice and reasonably priced. With a nice view of the fountain and near the park. Staff were nice and spoke good English. Would recommend if in the area especially if you are celiac.
