A very good place to eat; the dishes are delicious and generous.
The owner is incredibly friendly, as are the servers, despite a bit of a wait (but the job requires training, which is understandable!). The location is perfect, opposite the oyster huts, and the menu is varied and caters to everyone, including children and vegetarians.

The Arkeseon is an establishment located in the charming village of Lège-Cap-Ferret.
The staff is welcoming, always available, and very professional. This creates a truly pleasant atmosphere and makes it easy to decide to return to this French restaurant, whether you choose to pay for tobacco or simply relax in its lovely bar area.

We discovered this restaurant during a stroll through the oyster-farming village of Le Canon. Just like the charming village itself, we thoroughly enjoyed this delightful restaurant, with its attentive service, menu featuring local products, and excellent value for money. Both children and adults thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We appreciated the seafood on offer, and I, along with my daughter, particularly loved the mussels marinière—a delicacy that I found hard to share with her, as she adored them so much she ate them faster than I did! 😅 As a result, we returned a few days later to try other equally delicious dishes.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Le Canon or swimming there.

A must for us to stop at this restaurant in Cap Ferret with its breathtaking view of the Arcachon basin. My partner had sea bream and the children and I had mussels and fries. Quick and efficient service, a table at 1 pm without a reservation in the shade... a delight 😜

We've known this restaurant since 2015 and witnessed the change of ownership eight years ago. Since then, it's been a pleasure to return every year, and we've never been disappointed.
It's a simple, unpretentious, family-run restaurant where you immediately feel welcome. The food is always prepared with fresh ingredients, the dishes are generous, flavorful, and made with care. Here, there's nothing superfluous: just honest, efficient, and consistent cuisine.
A big thank you to the owners, who are always lovely, smiling, and attentive.
An address we highly recommend and where we will return, as we do every year, with the same delight.

Excellent restaurant: hearty and delicious food, friendly atmosphere, special mention for the mussels and fries and the 2000s playlist! 😅 We returned two years apart, and the service was still just as attentive and caring. Our two-year-old daughter had a great time (high chair available), and the chocolate fondant was absolutely divine. Don't hesitate any longer, step inside Arkeseon and meet the owners; you'll have a truly unique experience :)
