L'Arome sur Bonnieux

Elegant but also cozy restaurant with excellent classic French cuisine. Unfortunately, the wines are all too expensive.

Looking for a special place for a sixtieth birthday, I found Arome on the Michelin Guide thinking of selecting a starred one. I ended up choosing the Arome which has nothing to envy of the starred ones. Perfect. Jean Michel and Clara very kindly agreed to step out of the box by concocting a tasting menu for a special date for my wife and myself. THANKS. The white wine recommended by Clara was in perfect harmony with the first 2 courses. The red a little less on the excellent, the extraordinary specialty of Jean Michel - Le Porc Noir 8h. Thank you both for this sublime moment. Also thank your very friendly and smiling waiter.

Good restaurant, good cuisine, special mention for the starters and main courses, huge regret for the desserts where a few things are missing, cheese platter at 14e with a selection of 3 different ones in small quantities, slightly overvalued price for the overall score , quite a wait between plates. 3.5/5

Fabulous restaurant, magnificent vaulted room. Extraordinary cuisine, the dishes are made with care, works of art. The incredible service, the very smiling, friendly staff who take care of these customers. I highly recommend ! very very nice restaurant

Excellent restaurant with excellent, refined cuisine and good wines. One of the best restaurants on our trip. Very friendly, competent service. We can only recommend it and will come back again at some point if possible. Reservation in advance recommended

We had a great evening with very tasty food in the L'Arôme restaurant. We each chose the menu consisting of a starter, main course and dessert for €56. All ingredients were high quality and very tasteful. The service was really excellent. We'd love to come back. A clear recommendation! Was the recession helpful to you?

Ausgezeichnete Küche und schönes Ambiente im Gewölbe. Nettes und kompetentes Personal.

We had a great time at l’arôme! - Exceptional food - very well prepared and presented. - Service was very good. We felt welcome and were given a good table with extra space for our kid + stroller. - We highly recommend a reservation - the restaurant was fully booked for a weekday lunch.

Das Essen excellent und der Service reizend und charmant. Bedingt kann man auf der Terrasse sitzen, die Tische liegen in einer engen Durchgangsgasse, da zieht es leicht und Passanten gehen direkt am Teller vorbei.

Während unseres diesjährigen Urlaubs zum zweiten Mal dieses Restaurant besucht. Tolles Ambiente, freundlicher Service und wirklich ausgezeichnetes Essen (beide Male). Nun zur Kritik: nach dem ersten Besuch haben wir direkt nochmals für genau eine Woche später einen ganz bestimmten Tisch reserviert (bei der Chefin). Als wir nun heute eintrafen, war dieser Tisch besetzt. Wir haben auf unsere Reservierung hingewiesen. Diese wurde nach Überprüfung bestätigt, d.h. der Fehler lag beim Restaurant. Uns wurde ein anderer Tisch zugewiesen. Es kam weder ein Wort des Bedauerns oder des Verständnisses ob unserer Verärgerung noch eine Geste der Entschuldigung, gleich welcher Art. Wir hätten uns auch aufgrund des Renommees dieses Restaurants einen souveräneren Umgang mit dieser für uns unbefriedigenden Situation gewünscht. Sehr schade!
