L'Arôme sur Forges-Les-Bains

A superb evening, thanks in particular to our table neighbors who gave us excellent recommendations! (The gentleman worked part-time at the restaurant and knew the entire menu by heart.) It's a place where children are respected, and the private parking is a real plus. Two minor drawbacks: the service, which could be improved. The overall atmosphere: friendly and the dishes are original. The only thing left to improve is the quality of the salmon and veal, especially considering the price. On the other hand, the music (pop/techno) was very loud, even though we asked them to turn it down; it was quite unpleasant. That said, we had a good time.

A truly wonderful place, well worth discovering. 😄 We had a fantastic evening. A very warm welcome, excellent service, and beautifully prepared, delicious dishes. It's a shame it's so far from Normandy! 😉

Several visits to L'Arôme restaurant and always a great experience. The beef Pad Thai is amazing, the profiteroles are delicious, and the salmon bagel is excellent. Always wonderful discoveries. The welcome is warm and friendly. I highly recommend it! 👍👍

Great atmosphere. Except the music was way too loud. We had a very good time, just a big disappointment when we saw that the waitress didn't offer us the daily specials. It was as if she didn't want to be there. She mentioned communication problems within the team, and we would have preferred a more professional approach.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! We had a hard time choosing our dishes because everything looked so tempting, and once the food arrived, we weren't disappointed at all. The plates were generous and delicious! The service was very pleasant; we received a warm welcome and attentive service from beginning to end. We highly recommend it and will gladly return when we're in the area!

We had a fantastic time at L’Arôme; it’s a restaurant you absolutely must try! The restaurant is truly lovely, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. The entire team is friendly, attentive, and incredibly caring. The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients, and you can taste it in every plate. The menu changes seasonally, allowing you to discover new dishes that reflect what’s in season. The cocktails are also excellent, with a special mention for the Saudade—a real favorite! A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We came to L’Arôme for dinner on a Saturday night and we were absolutely delighted! The menu is crafted with great finesse, the flavor combinations are original and perfectly executed. You can immediately tell that the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. In the dining room, the service was impeccable: a smiling, attentive team who took excellent care of us throughout the meal. The wait was a little long, but we were informed upon arrival that the chef was working alone in the kitchen with a full dining room… 😅 Frankly, the wait was well worth it. The waitress gave us excellent advice on the food and wine pairings, which were superb. A small but much appreciated touch: we were offered a complimentary digestif as an apology for the wait. A thoughtful gesture that is always appreciated. A young, dynamic, and passionate team; a restaurant that truly deserves to be known… and judging by the full house, it already is! We will gladly return. See you very soon!

A wonderful experience, a special moment shared with family, a truly delightful discovery. In the village of Forges-les-Bains, a small restaurant that deserves to be known and visited. A small team, but attentive and dedicated to their customers. We were greeted by a young woman and advised by another member of staff, both charming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The dishes were elegant and flavorful: a delicious roasted peach, a Wagyu ribeye steak, and a profiterole that's worth the trip alone. The rest of the family enjoyed it too. We thank the entire team for this wonderful experience. There was a bit of a wait, but the result is evident on the plates: fresh, high-quality ingredients, exactly what you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Keep up the good work, we'll be back very soon.
