L'asperule sur Auxerre

We had a wonderful meal here. The 5 course menu at 45 euros (78€ with 4 glasses of wine) was excellent value for money. Each dish was beautifully presented and every element flavoursome. The service was friendly and professional. Definitely recommend.

Second visit to this restaurant and it's still fabulous. I don't know which is more remarkable, the view or the taste - probably both. The photos already make you want it. The room is small, reservation is required. The prices are reasonable for an establishment of this quality. I recommend without reservation.

Excellent restaurant. It’s a real taste experience. The value for money is excellent. The waitress and the chef will take care of you. The wines offered with each dish were carefully chosen. Please note that they take food allergies into account and adapt, if possible. This was very appreciable.

Very refined cuisine, attentive service, intimate and cozy atmosphere. The chef's Japanese adaptations are refined for fish and juices, well seasoned. However, it is sometimes difficult to recognize all the foods taste-wise, perhaps due to the marked character of the broths. Perfect food-wine pairing, be careful with white wine served a little too cold, which limits aroma and flavor.

An inconspicuous restaurant, but worth trying. Everything was excellent from the aperitif to the coffee, the presentation of the dishes was very beautiful and original, the aromas and flavors were exceptional. Chef and Maitre very professional and kind. Excellent prices considering the quality of the raw materials and each preparation.

Exceptional!!!!! An inventive, subtle, balanced cuisine.. Each succulent, exquisite, fine dish… A remarkably successful marriage between Japan and Burgundy. Warm and impeccable service. We will remember this evening for a long time.

This restaurant is a true gem! I am still thinking of the delicious dinner we had yesterday. Chef Kimura blends his Japanese tradition in the French cuisine, giving to guests a unique experience. We literally enjoyed every single dish, in their perfect balance of flavours and consistencies. The wine pairing was on spot with some nice discoveries from small Burgundy producers. The atmosphere is warm, service is attentive. Price is well worth the experience. This address hasn’t to be missed. Could easily get a star very soon. The only thing we regret is that we are leaving the area of Chablis today and we can’t visit again L’Asperule. Big Bravo to chef Kimura, you have us a truly delightful experience!

Restaurant quite small in size, creating a certain intimate atmosphere. Reservation recommended if not obligatory so as not to miss the gastronomic experience at l'Aspérule. Japanese chef, well versed in French gourmet cuisine, his creations are a good reflection of the refinement of his two respective countries. Good value for money at lunch. The cook and his wife in the customer contact and room service department form an admirable couple, interested in satisfying those who have chosen to come to their place to eat! Very nice experience for us, 5 stars in every way! We highly recommend!

Un dîner d’exception, pour une cuisine raffinée avec des produits de grande qualité, sublimés par une petite équipe hyper efficace et d’une amabilité appréciable. Une expérience culinaire qui restera dans nos mémoires gustatives.

Expérience superbe, raffinement total, un pain différent à chaque plat, des saveurs rarement dégustées. Ce qu'on a dans l'assiette mérite une étoile Michelin sans problème. L'équipe est très peu fournie mais incroyablement efficace, je recommande mille fois.
