Late bookings accepted! The food is absolutely top-notch! A warm welcome, very professional and friendly service! The setting on the Cotinière harbor is also a highlight! The food is an absolute delight! Refined presentation, generous portions. Everything homemade!!! A true delight! The homemade infused rums are excellent, and they offer great advice on which flavors to choose! Fresh and delicious fish. I highly recommend this restaurant for both its cuisine and its friendly service!

This is a lovely establishment with a wonderful welcome and delicious food. I'm not a rum expert, so I can't comment on that, but what's certain is that the wine list is impressive. A far cry from the tourist traps in the area. Definitely worth a visit.

Ideally located restaurant opposite the port of La Cotinière the welcome is warm the food is excellent the captain's basket is impressive! (see photo) special mention for the rum menu and the advice given to choose the most suitable one reservations recommended

I highly recommend this restaurant. The dishes are generous, fresh, high-quality, and sophisticated. The value for money is excellent. Furthermore, the owner is a rum expert and offers excellent advice!

We had lunch at this restaurant on a whim during a stroll in La Cotinière, and we were pleasantly surprised by the original, beautifully presented, and delicious dishes. The price-quality ratio is quite reasonable for a seaside restaurant in a harbor. A great find!

23/05/2026: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! We managed, after a bit of a struggle but with the owners' kindness, to snag two reservations for lunch. A mix of the set menu and à la carte options allowed us to fully appreciate the quality of the food and wines. It's now marked in red on our list of favorite spots.
18/05/2026: A bit disappointed, the swordfish was tasteless and served with a cold sauce... the crème brûlée was more like a simple egg custard... the restaurant has declined compared to its past. A good point for the young, dedicated, and efficient waitress.

Le Zing

11/06/2026: Passing through Île d'Oléron for the day, we stumbled upon Zing and it was a delightful surprise. Everything was perfect, from the appetizer to the dessert, on the lovely set menu. Fresh ingredients, expertly cooked and seasoned. If I return to Oléron, I will definitely eat at Zing again for its excellent value. Thank you for the warm welcome!
25/05/2026: The atmosphere and service were excellent. The daily menu was perfect. I came for my birthday and ended the day with this wonderful discovery. I highly recommend this restaurant.
