L'Atelier de Jacques sur Saint-Aubin-Sur-Gaillon

A Chalet in the Mountains! We had a wonderful evening in this unique chalet belonging to L’Atelier de Jacques in Saint-Aubin-sur-Gaillon. (Nope! We're not actually in the mountains!). The setting is truly original; we felt like we were in the mountains, gathered around a fireplace that doubled as a barbecue, like a real fire pit. This experience was made possible thanks to my daughter, who entered a contest organized by L’Atelier de Jacques and won this meal for the whole family (6 people). The meal was delicious, and the staff were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The wine, especially the champagne served as an aperitif, was excellent. We felt like we were the only ones there, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this enchanting getaway, whether with family or friends. The staff was exceptionally kind. A big thank you to L’Atelier de Jacques!

Perfect! We had a meal with a Smartbox voucher, the interior is truly superb, the staff very friendly, and the owner even came to greet us at our table – it was fantastic. And the food was absolutely excellent and affordable. We'll definitely be back.

A superb, very cozy place. High-quality food. A minor drawback was the selection of petit fours. A typical chalet with a mountain atmosphere.

A superb raclette experience with friends at the end of November! Everything was perfect from start to finish. We were immersed in a true mountain atmosphere thanks to this magnificent chalet, perfectly equipped for a memorable evening: a crackling fire, benches with blankets, a speaker, a guitar… everything was there. The raclette package is definitely worth the price. We were a little worried we might not be hungry, but believe me: come prepared! A generous appetizer of hummus, sausage, and smoked trout, followed by several varieties of delicious cheeses, tender meat, potatoes, and a salad to accompany everything. We also want to warmly thank our waitress, who was perfect throughout the evening. An experience to repeat without hesitation! PS: Remember to leave your coats at the restaurant; the smell of the wood fire spreads quickly.

We enjoyed the food (flavor and presentation) and appreciated that you offered a solution for our vegetarian guest. It would be ideal to have vegetarian options on the menu. However, we were seated at the round table right outside the kitchen. The door opening every minute, offering a view of your staff doing their work, and especially at the end of the evening when they were squeegeeing the floor, made for a far from magical experience…

We had a very pleasant time in the chalet! We were pampered with service that must have been quite unpleasant in the snow... well done for the professionalism!

A lovely family outing where we came to see Gabriel, who was doing his last week of internship at L'Atelier de Jacques. We'll be back, it was delicious!
