For my son's 20th birthday, and not being from Strasbourg, I chose L'Atelier based on a recommendation… A delightful evening… A warm and friendly welcome, a pleasant atmosphere, and smiling, professional service. A small menu featuring local products; we all ordered hanger steak with butter and shallots, served with homemade fries and a small mixed salad for me… and, as a treat, a morel mushroom sauce on the side… perfectly cooked 🤩, melt-in-your-mouth meat… a true delight!!! For dessert, my son had a homemade tiramisu with a twist, featuring chestnuts… a "killer," according to him! I highly recommend this establishment for the quality of its dishes, but also for the quality of the service… smiles and friendliness… a truly wonderful evening! Thank you to the whole team 😊👍

Food was amazing, all staff was really nice to us and the place is super cozy. We called a bit ahead to check if we (party of 4) could still get some food even though they were close to the kitchen closure time and they promptly told us to come, that they would put a note that we'd be there soon. Also, they explained all the dishes we didn't understand (our french is not very good) and patiently waited for us to translate to our elder parents in our mother tongue.

We had a very good meal for a great price. For dessert, I had a homemade gourmet coffee, which isn't always the case these days. The welcome was warm and the service competent. A wonderful first experience that we highly recommend.
