L'Atlantel sur Vigneux-De-Bretagne

A very good hotel, lovely inside with a heated pool and excellent staff. Especially the waiter named Luis, very friendly and always smiling, who makes you want to linger at the hotel bar. The food is good. There's a self-service coffee machine and water fountain, and both coffee and water are complimentary. I recommend it.

Family weekend getaway. A very warm welcome from both the morning and evening staff. Clean room. A well-stocked breakfast buffet. Didn't try the restaurant. The hotel is located on the edge of the ring road, but you can't hear the traffic. The parking lot is quite large.

Family visit in March 2026, with a 5-year-old and a baby. Hotel highlights: baby cot prepared with a comfortable mattress and sheets; baby changing area in the restrooms at reception, near the breakfast room; no screens in the breakfast room (ideal for limiting screen time for young children); rooms with bathtubs for bathing babies; generous breakfast, spacious breakfast room with some local products; small play area with children's books in reception; location very close to the highway; very friendly staff. There is also a swimming pool for sunny days. Hotel drawbacks: no on-site restaurant on weekends (a major negative for a 4-star hotel), somewhat dated decor outside the rooms; no play area in the main breakfast room; hotel is located outside the city center, no outdoor playground for children (even though there is plenty of space) and no activities nearby.

Very warm welcome, a good breakfast

Overall, a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, well-suited for a one-night stay or a short visit. The staff was friendly, and the hotel offered good, standard services for a Brit Hotel. My only criticism would be the breakfast—I found it a bit pricey considering what was offered (a decent but basic buffet), which was a little disappointing given the price.

The accessible room was too small. It was impossible to reach the wardrobe or the window in a wheelchair. The bathroom was large, but the shower floor was slippery and lacked grab bars. On the other hand, the soundproofing was good and the bed very comfortable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast could be improved as the pastries were white, and a dirty cup and knife were found on the buffet the first day.

We stayed for 3 nights, a couple and an 8-year-old child. Breakfast was not included. The room and bathroom were an adequate size. One of the days our room wasn't cleaned. No one speaks Spanish; we communicated as much as we could in English. They see you arrive with two suitcases and three carry-ons, and even if the concierge is free, they won't help you move them, neither to enter the hotel nor to get to your room. We had a room where you have to go outside from the reception area (you pass by the pool). There's a McDonald's next to the hotel. It was relatively close (by car) to my brother-in-law's house in Vigneux, Britain.

The hotel is lovely, the staff are friendly, and I recommend booking with breakfast included.
