L'Aubade sur Agen

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant with a couple of friends. The food was excellent, the dishes were carefully prepared and beautifully presented. We appreciated the chef presenting the daily specials directly to us. A truly great place that we happily recommend. We will definitely be back!

We arrived at 1 p.m. today. What a wonderful discovery! Everything is homemade. The owner and staff are lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'll be back.

What a wonderful discovery! Don't hesitate! From aperitif to dessert, we followed the Chef's own advice! He presented us with beautiful, generous, and delicious dishes! To top it all off, we even left with some of the Chef's little secrets that I won't reveal to you 😉

There were 14 of us for lunch and we were having trouble finding a table. We called and they reserved it for us without any problem. The chef was very nice and the girl who served us was too. We liked it so much that we went back for dinner that night. In the end, she even told us about the connection between Agen and Bilbao and why she served butter with the cheese.

A truly comforting and delightful experience. The place feels like one you stumble upon in an unfamiliar city, around a street corner, thinking, "I want to settle in, enjoy the ambiance, and perhaps be pleasantly surprised by the food." And you were right. From starter to main course to dessert, a true delight, recommended by the chef and his daily specials board, it was flawless. The homemade semi-cooked foie gras terrine was divine. The rump steak skewer would make a vegan hesitate, accompanied by tender, flavorful vegetables and fries. And finally, a light and delicate fromage blanc with a smooth coulis. A culinary balance from beginning to end. In the evening, we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the church square as night fell and the heat subsided. We drank an excellent organic blonde beer. My partner accompanied me with a dry white wine chosen from a tempting wine list. I'm not from around here, but I'm doing my best to invite you to discover L'Aubade. Don't hesitate.

Good restaurant in the center of Agen. Eating in the square is very pleasant.

A fantastic time, as always. The 45-minute drive was well worth it. Excellent food and a very warm welcome. I highly recommend it.
