One small drawback, because one must find one... the service was a little slow?
A very nice touch was the chef coming to chat with us at the end of the meal.

Passing through Agen on Easter Monday evening, this was the only "real" restaurant open. Everything was perfect: excellent quality ingredients prepared to perfection (we had a matured ribeye steak and a seafood platter, as well as fresh strawberries with a crumble), the owner himself coming to present the menu and offer advice, a charming and efficient waiter, a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, and a very pleasant location. The plancha grilling of all the seafood platter ingredients (prawns, scallops, mussels, and baby squid) was a great success; it had been a long time since we had enjoyed a meal so much in a restaurant.

A truly delightful culinary experience with a very attentive and caring owner. Seasonal vegetables cooked with care, fish, shellfish, and foie gras prepared and/or homemade – a real treat for the taste buds. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic restaurant. We go there often with colleagues, and it's become our go-to spot! Everything is top-notch. The servers are friendly and attentive, and Pascal, the chef, is lovely. All his dishes are homemade, and it shows in the quality. The set menu at around €20 is excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

As a regular customer, I can't help but recommend L'Aubade restaurant for the quality of its cuisine, the speed and efficiency of its service, and the wonderful atmosphere created by Chef Pascal.

I highly recommend this restaurant! Traditional cuisine made with high-quality, varied ingredients. We had a lovely evening and discovered a welcoming, attentive, and versatile owner.
