I have already passed through the door of this establishment a few times, the boss in the kitchen and his wife in the dining room will offer you exceptional cuisine, a quality of products both in fish and meat you will not be disappointed in addition to the know-how of the boss. A wine list with wine growers. Small importance for me tablecloth and cloth napkins, I will let you discover this establishment....

My partner and I came at noon. A superb setting, a very warm welcome, extraordinary and plentiful quality of cuisine. An excellent discovery. We will come back (by booking this time) and we recommend this establishment.

Aperitif, garbure for my brother and me, Lamb shoulder with vegetables Norwegian omelette for 3 with an extra 3.00. Coffee. White wine carafe of water. A treat. An excellent meal. Everything is perfect. Kind welcome and perfect service. Exceptional dessert. Cost 40 euros per person. Well done and thank you. We will come back.

The very charming village of Laas has three assets that make it unmissable: - he is in Béarn, - it established itself as a “Principality”, - we find the Auberge de la Fontaine there. We only had lunch here; but if the rooms are like the restaurant, I would like to sleep there! To have lunch there, you will need to reserve, which is already a guarantee of quality. The welcome is extraordinary, with a sincere and warm smile, and words of welcome that would melt a block of granite. The service is just as attentive, the two ladies who officiate in the room are more than attentive to everyone, anticipating requests, with thoughtfulness and discretion. As for the cuisine, it is difficult to do better for the daily menu at 17€: soup, starter, main course, dessert, all hearty and tasty, homemade: you can see it, you can feel it, and we taste it at licking our lips. Judge for yourself: Garbure: very thick and well stocked, tasty, the tureen is placed on the table, there is enough for five people, and there are three of us, which is better to have in a photo than at the table; Mussels marinières: everyone receives their bowl filled to the top, they are delicious, admirably prepared and seasoned, another treat; Roast chicken and baked potatoes: the pieces of poultry are large, well roasted, we feel that the poultry has lived in the open air, it has raced with its farm friends, a thousand miles from the puny anorexic and pale chicken which smells musty; the bone attachments are solid, the flesh is muscular and tasty; potatoes baked with chicken are a rare delicacy, we are gourmets! The chosen dessert (the choice is difficult in the list proposed) is a pear tart: here too, homemade is king, which is becoming rare: the pastry is thick and crispy, the just-sweet cream holds together perfectly, and the pears ennoble (if necessary) this imperial finale. Aside from the daily menu, you can opt for an à la carte meal. This will be explored later, because I have only one regret: not having discovered this enchanting place sooner, where it is certain, we will be keen to return... Hats off to the whole team, who enhance this charming village even more.

Creo que es la cuarta o quinta vez que volvemos a éste sitio. Un imprescindible del Bearn. La comida bien servida, de calidad el sitio tiene mucho encanto. El pueblo, perdón el Principado de Laas merece una visita.Un sitio curioso (si puedes pasar la frontera) en el centro del mundo. No es la última vez que cenamos aquí. Seguro.
