What a disappointment! We had a reservation, but there was no choice of dishes; beef and carrots was the only option. There were four of us, and two of us didn't like beef! There was a large group there that day, and it was very noisy. Our only option was to eat outside, in 35°C heat! 😒🫠

Reserved for a midday break during a drive through the Beaujolais Vert region... A very pleasant inn with a simple yet inviting interior. Impeccable cleanliness and table settings, as is the rest of the dining room. Terrace with children's play area. A Sunday menu at a very reasonable price: €30 for a starter, main course, cheese, AND dessert... extremely rare! During the week, the daily menu was €17... exceptional! Beyond that, the cuisine is clever: a limited choice of two items for each course plus daily specials. It's simple and delicious, allowing for the above prices while minimizing waste. By keeping the unit cost down, I imagine with little stock, minimal waste, and minimal handling, it allows for high productivity in both the kitchen and the dining room... I love it! Such excellent value for money that doesn't compromise on culinary pleasure and conviviality. A very good meal in a warm atmosphere, with friendly yet efficient service (thank you, Rose!). There was a certain amount of background noise due to the nearly full dining room. An obvious and well-deserved success. There's no elaborate menu, no overwhelming selection, but I must emphasize: the cuisine is well thought out in every detail to satisfy the guests... What else? In any case, happy and satisfied, we regretted not taking photos to better showcase this beautifully run inn. We will gladly return to further illustrate this review. What a wonderful discovery! We were greeted with a smile and genuine kindness, which immediately set the tone. The detailed menu quickly won us over. Everything is homemade, and this was fully confirmed on the plate. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, perfectly showcased by the passionate duo who run this inn-restaurant. Each plate is generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. As the meal progressed, we were increasingly delighted by their authentic and flavorful cuisine. All this at a more than reasonable price considering the quality offered. We were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave! If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by for a truly delightful gastronomic experience. And if you happen to see the strawberry mousse on the menu, go for it: it's absolutely delicious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sunday dinner with 20 guests, excellent service with lots of thoughtful touches. The food was delicious, everything homemade, and the garden is a real bonus, especially with young children. We highly recommend this restaurant.
