It was a surprise. It's a very nice place, the food is good, the atmosphere is nothing special. My opinion... The cuisine has been frozen back in the '80s; there's nothing that reflects our times. For what I tried, one start would be enough.

An incredible first fine dining experience. The dish was delicious and the portion was more than generous. The sommelier and servers were always available.

Very good traditional cuisine. But nothing particularly memorable. The service was too stiff and impersonal, contributing to a rather heavy atmosphere. The Hubert Lamy wine was mediocre. Ultimately, what lingers most after some time is the price.

Unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. The Auberge was about our seventh or eighth two-Michelin-starred restaurant – with the Schwarzwaldstube and its well-deserved three stars leading the way. We received a very attentive welcome, and the restaurant itself boasts a very pleasant, modern interior. We opted for the seven-course tasting menu, which, at €285, was on the high end for a two-star establishment. After attractive amuse-bouches and a clean pike-perch mosaic, the next two courses arrived hectically, every ten minutes. The remaining courses were solid to good, but served far too quickly for our taste, in just over two hours, and lacked any real highlights. The lobster and venison were good, but more in the one-star range. The cheese and wine pairings were presented without much explanation, and the staff didn't seem entirely comfortable speaking English. At least our feedback was acknowledged with appreciation. ... Unfortunately, the hype, which obviously attracts "star-eaters," was also a downside: at the three tables next to us, there was a) one guest with a constantly runny nose and frequent sneezing at the table, b) two guests who were talking on their phones while sitting at the table, and c) one toddler who crawled around and "entertained" the entire table. Therefore, all in all, a somewhat disappointing evening…

A truly wonderful family lunch this Sunday! We received a very warm welcome! The service was impeccable throughout the meal! The tasting menus were absolutely delicious, both the classic menu and the vegetarian one! We will always remember the pear and chicory dessert, which was absolutely divine! Thank you so much to the entire team and Mr. Heaberlin!

We had lunch there 9 years ago when they had three Michelin stars. They have undeniably declined in quality. The pigeon with truffles was a disaster; the turnips were overly salty, the quenelle was mealy and tasteless, and the pigeon liver ruined the entire dish—it was sickening. Fresh duck foie gras would have been much better. The Périgueux sauce was excellent, very indulgent. The lobster starter was a mediocre mix of flavors that didn't blend well. The bisque, however, was a simple yet brilliant choice, elevating the dish to new heights with its refreshing character. The chestnut torch dessert had a hard meringue and mediocre orange ice cream—not quite worthy of a two-star establishment. Overall, the waiter was very professional and friendly, as was the sommelier. However, the chef's daughter was cold and unwelcoming, which is unacceptable and significantly detracts from the experience. It was the young receptionist and our waiter, a dark-haired gentleman of average height in a navy suit, who thanked us and said goodbye; otherwise, no one would have escorted us to the door. This is shocking for a Michelin-starred restaurant, even a brasserie. The regulars thanked you and said goodbye more warmly. Overall, we were both a little disappointed with our visit and at the same time sympathetic and respectful towards Chef Marc Haeberlin, to whom we wish all the best for the future!
