What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! While we were so engrossed in the food that we wished some dishes had been served in larger portions, everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the desserts. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Kudos to this approach that prioritizes local produce while maintaining high quality. We will definitely be back to try the chef's specialties. A fantastic experience at Auberge des Lys! We ordered a ribeye steak with fries and thoroughly enjoyed it. The steak was excellent, very tender, and, most importantly, perfectly cooked as requested. The homemade fries were also delicious.
The welcome was also very warm. Special mention to the waiter who looked after us for a good part of the meal: he was incredibly kind, attentive, and so pleasant—it was a pleasure to be treated like that!
A truly excellent restaurant, both for the food and the service. We will gladly return 😊

We had a fantastic time at Auberge des Lys with friends! We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive staff.
I had a delicious meal! I ordered the potato pancakes, which were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, and the terrace decor adds a real charm to the restaurant.
A great place to spend quality time with friends, enjoy good food, and take advantage of a lovely setting. I highly recommend it!

I invited some friends, both former restaurateurs who ran a beautiful, upscale establishment. They were thrilled with this discovery! From aperitif to dessert, the pleasure of eating homemade dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, where the chef puts his love of cooking and his desire to please his customers into everything he does! The welcome and service are top-notch… I happily recommend this restaurant!

A lovely little family-run inn with a wonderful welcome and excellent food. It had been a long time since we'd been back, and we loved it. Tom, who served us, was incredibly kind and helpful with our little one. Honestly, a fantastic experience; I highly recommend it.

I'm sorry, it's an excellent restaurant, but closed during the summer. I understand better why the region is going under; it's no longer the South of France that attracts people. Good luck to all the wonderful businesses in Saint-Étienne.
I live 400 km from Veauchette, but I'll support those who deserve it.
I'm so sorry. Come to our place; we haven't had a drop of water for over three months. I'll go to McDonald's with my family.
