I highly recommend this establishment. Firstly, the quality of the food is impeccable; secondly, the setting is absolutely charming. Nestled between shimmering ponds and rolling forests, it was truly magical to have lunch on the terrace. A delightful moment of pure enjoyment, savoring the beauty of the surroundings and the dishes, which were as delicious as they were beautifully presented. Be warned, the portions are very generous!

A truly delightful stay at this inn by the thousand ponds. The decor is incredible, the terrace very pleasant, the manager very welcoming and friendly, and the food perfect. I highly recommend it.

What a wonderful place. Authentic French setup; a fixed menu for the starter and main course. You can choose from a number of options. Then the dessert; a kind of grand dessert. Highly recommended in a beautiful location! Reservations are advisable!

Delicious food. Totally authentic. There were 10 of us and it was a fantastic afternoon! We highly recommend it!

A magical place... we thoroughly enjoyed the frog leg menu. A very pleasant atmosphere with a lovely post-meal stroll. I highly recommend it.

In the middle of nowhere in the Vosges mountains near Saône, there are magnificent walks to be had in the surrounding area. The inn is beautiful with its rustic charm and superb timber frame, its tasteful and welcoming decor. BUT the set menu is fixed and only one course: frog legs, for a disproportionate price: €68 per person! No alternative is possible; you are presented with a fait accompli, no menu! As for the food, it was weak considering the price: dandelion salad swimming in dressing, potato pancakes (excellent), passable cured ham, and of course, frog legs. Frankly, we felt trapped and a bit ripped off. The owner told us, "It's been like this for 35 years," unfortunately not mentioned anywhere on the website.
