Superb, simply perfect setting, I went there for lunch for my 30th birthday, we were a large group, unfortunately the weather was not very nice to eat outside but we were very well received, the meal was delicious and great value for money price.
The inn and its surroundings are magnificent! Pétanque court available, walk in the park to also enjoy 🙂 I will return with great pleasure!

This place is magical, there is little chance of finding it in tourist guides or in the directory of good restaurants, in any case we have not seen it, and yet it is worth the detour 10 times, we are told had highly recommended, knowing our aspirations and requirements.
It’s the perfect duo, setting and cuisine! to which we can add, welcome and service.
On October 21 at noon with 25 degrees and magnificent sunshine, the terrace is full, and parasols are essential because the weather is beautiful, surely Indian summer.
-The setting first of all is captivatingly hypnotizing, absolute calm, green plenitude, facing the St Loup peak, a large building with green shutters and orange parasols invites you to a delicious moment, and which sits in the middle of the park; its majesty “the giant cedar” which dominates everything from the height of its centuries, and its fifty meters, impossible to miss it, and the name of the inn appears obvious, he must have seen people, seasons , and changes over all these years.
What immediately appeals is this calm, this reassuring tranquility, no noise, just the singing of birds who are here in their element, a magnificent green park with plenty of trees.
The inn which also provides hotel accommodation offers good catering, different menus and a wine list like I have never seen, and yet we have frequented hundreds of establishments, 36 pages of all the grape varieties, white, rosé , red, champagne, if you can't find what you're looking for, it's simply because you don't like wine, big congratulations to Françoise.
The omnipresent hostess advises you, she knows her cellar, her winegrowers and the surrounding grape varieties better than anyone, so the food and wine pairings are perfect.
The gourmet menu, for €43, is really very balanced, made from fresh seasonal produce, starter, main course, cheese and dessert, several choices are possible with some well-designed supplements, it is of an excellent level, the presentations are careful , the copiously filled plates whet the appetite, local products are highlighted.
In short, a very good time that we wouldn't want to interrupt, as the place is so charming.
If we agree to say that 50% of what brings customers is the setting, the atmosphere, the situation, what will definitely make them come back is what is in the plates. Here it is indeed the case, seduction first, and enchantment then...
Above all, don't forget to book and find out about closing dates because from October to March the restaurant is no longer serving.
