Unfriendly owner, exorbitant breakfast prices...

At breakfast, contrary to what the inn's name might suggest, there wasn't just croissants 🥐. Imagine: the croissant inn, brioche, hard-boiled eggs, orange juice, coffee, tea, and jam. The size of the sign 😮

We had a wonderful time with colleagues. The menu was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. A truly great experience, we'd do it again in a heartbeat!

We didn't eat there, we slept there. I agree with the other reviews: at first glance, the place is a bit unnerving 😆!!! But once you step inside the room, everything is fine! It's clean, well-restored, and pretty. It's on a busy road but very well insulated. Ideally located for the Loire à Vélo cycling route. The host was away but very responsive remotely, and despite a few minor mishaps that we chose to laugh off, everything turned out alright, and our host even offered a gesture of goodwill.

One-night stay at the hotel with breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The room was comfortable, but the child's bed took up a lot of space (and was unnecessary for our needs). The road is busy but quieter at night. The air conditioning was noisy, which was a shame as it was very hot that evening. Breakfast was a generous portion, with a variety of tasty items. The menu offered two options, and the products were seasonal and of high quality. Like other guests, we were disappointed that the portions were rather small, both for the main courses and the wine. Nevertheless, we have fond memories of a pleasant time enjoying excellent food.

Best meal we had during a week in Vouvray. The carte blanche menu was incredible, as was the wine.
