I was really craving a cordon bleu. It was cooked perfectly, the cheese was melted, the meat tender, and the portion more than generous. The prices were competitive. The menu is small, but the food is well-prepared. The only downside is that the tables are wide, which is nice because there's plenty of space, but you do have to speak a little louder to have a conversation. Like everywhere else, it's a bit noisy. It's also a little warm inside... The decor is pleasant and the service is welcoming.

A charming little restaurant nestled in the heart of Wittersheim village. Parking is easy. There are a few small tables outside, but they're more for smoking than eating. The interior is welcoming, clean, and tastefully decorated. The waiter is friendly and professional. The menu features Alsatian specialties, but not exclusively; they also offer pizzas. The prices are very reasonable. There were eight of us, and all eight were delighted with their meals. The tarte flambée and pizza were good, though not exceptional. The steak tartare, Fleichkiechle, and Caesar burger were excellent, but the cordon bleu really stood out. They were enormous and delicious. The desserts were equally impressive. An excellent choice in terms of both quality and quantity.
